I come from a background of graphic design and digital marketing so I personally designed the website and handle most of our marketing. For our traffic sources, we put a lot of focus towards PPC, SEO and Content marketing through our blog and Apple News Channel.
Our blogs are created to inspire and guide our customers to create spaces they love. We do everything from Interviews with interior designers to D.I.Y’s and How To’s.
We manage all our campaigns in house and focus primarily on digital. Our favorite advertising platforms are Google and Facebook but we’re always experimenting with other platforms. My advice when it comes to advertising is, Be customer centric and get to know your customer very well.

On our Instagram, Facebook & Pinterest you can find inspirational lifestyle photos, Interior design quotes along with other things to engage with our customers. On our twitter you can find company updates and tweet us any questions you may have. My advice for social media is to focus on customer engagement.
We also handle our email marketing in house. We send promotions, announcements, blogs and offers to our customers, We also have some automated emails like abandoned cart reminders.
Our plans for 2020 are to double down on things that are currently working. We also plan on getting into new things like influencer and affiliate marketing.
My advice for other entrepreneurs is, Create a product that solves a problem for the customer, create a great experience and focus on distribution.
Homely is doing great and we’re growing every day. We’re currently just focusing on our online platform but you can also expect to see physical locations in the future.
